Eason is chair of the East Tennessee Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council, a nationwide nonprofit organization that developed LEED, a voluntary national rating system to support sustainable building practices. Eason, who also serves on Knoxville Mayor Bill Haslam’s Energy & Sustainability Task Force, is an architect who specializes in projects involving sustainable design, historic restoration, and adaptive reuse.
